VoA (short for Voices of Aarhus) was founded in November 2025. On this page, you can learn more about us, reach out with any questions, or sign up for auditions if you would like to contribute your voice the next time we open for new singers.
At VoA, we handpick every song and every singer with the shared goal of creating and conveying music that moves people and leaves an impression – both for the singers performing it and for the audience listening.

The Music of VoA
VoA is a modern, rhythmic a cappella choir led by Tine Fris-Ronsfeld. Our repertoire features music by Danish and Nordic artists as well as international heavyweights, complemented by newly composed works created specifically for VoA. We prioritize storytelling and musical expression alongside a high level of technical proficiency, believing that music only truly comes to life when it touches and moves the listener.
The Vision of VoA
At VoA, we explore new musical paths for vocal music while honoring the strong choral traditions from which we originate. Our ambition is to push the boundaries of what vocal music can achieve and how choral performances can be experienced.
VoA is a newly established choir consisting of experienced singers and young talents who share both high musical ambitions and a profound love for choral music. We strive to convey the stories within the songs in an intimate and relatable way, built on a foundation of lush harmonies, rhythmic complexity, and versatile voices. Whether performing for a small audience in a local town or on a major international stage, we aim to leave a lasting impression.
